San Diego County has around 50 new single-family home projects opening this year
A much smaller part of the market is new single-family homes that can sometimes be hard to find because most new residential construction is focused on apartments.
The number of new homes opening this year often depends on market conditions, labor and weather. But, there are up to 3,000 new homes planned. Exact prices can sometimes be hard to come by in projects that have not completed construction, with developers preferring to give a range or saying prices start at a certain amount. Also, prices can change as the year goes on.
